OUR RECOMMENDED

acquisition strategy

1

Initial consultation

Initial consultation. This will act as an introduction to one of our experienced portfolio managers. They will assess your portfolio, while demonstrating the whisky market characteristics and benefits. They will cover taxation, returns, and current risk levels.

Recommended offering

After your consultation, you will be advised on a bespoke acquisition, that aligns with the purpose of diversifying your portfolio into alternative markets. This will give you options to choose which cask will act as the best vehicle for your medium to long-term goals. Your dedicated portfolio manager will be there to ensure all questions are answered, and that you are in the best position to proceed.

Proceed with an offer

Once you have verbally accepted our recommendations, you will receive an educational onboarding pack, that will give you all the knowledge on your new acquisition covering the following:

  • Certificates of authenticity

  • Distillery and origin of your casks

  • Volume

  • Market performance

  • Storage legalities such as AML documents and insurances

Payment

Once the agreement is signed and the relevant documentation is sent back to us we will issue payment details for you to make payment. This can be done by debit or credit card or via bank transfer.

The best part!

Once all parts of the acquisition have been successfully completed, you will receive your trader’s welcome pack, with all details confirming ownership of your portfolio’s new addition. As the whisky market is considered an ‘armchair acquisition’ all you have to do now is sit back and watch your assets, until we provide an exit strategy to sell and enjoy what will hopefully be very healthy returns.
